Virtual Trajectories
Color exploration in first lessons of Virtual Trajectories, character color theory task

Dark and chrome
Quite monochromatic as well with the dark browns and light blue it gives a mysterious attitude to the characters, but not violent.
It goes very well with the story of the cartoon
The colors also can be called analogus (black, grey, darker grey) with occasional light colors to distinguish features
Those are wuite suddle and adult colors, they feel a bit sad and phylosofical

The link I have attached above is the link to my padlet in which I have most of my process documented in photos as well as links of tutorials.
The reason for my decision to make a DAVENCHICK GLEBON character stems from my childhood. I guess the idea of imaginary friends at a young age is very widely known, well this is no exception to this concept. When I was very little I had a couple of characters I would refer of think about from time to time, one of them being DAVENCHIK GLEBON, if my memory serves me right it is one of the first characters I came up with, some of the others are Sirnik, Sernik, and Sarnyak, which are triplets, then we have Auntie McWede, Dolbanaya Mary and Lipunushka, for some of them I had either songs or poems written, explaining a little who they are or what they have/do. For DAVENCHIK GLEBON I did not have any backstory or information about him, he was just always in the back of my mind as a guarder, a creature that appeared out of nowhere for no specific reason other than to guard and just be there. He was the oldest one in age, some might say that Auntie McWede is even younger, nevertheless, he has no outlined age. He does not have any race or factual explanation of who he is, he might resemble a bear or a clown or a cat, even has some human features, which adds to him being a total enigma. He is also a bit of a friend of Zhorik, who is another character who isn’t human, they are the only ones in this universe not having any real appearance explanation.
What I can say about his personality, he is kind, very romantic and loving, doesn’t get offended at all, doesn’t know how to play card games (that of course him pretending not to know just to let you win, but I am pretty sure that he was a huge gambler in the past, but his warm heart couldn’t take seeing people get very upset when they lost, so he decided forever deny any kind of knowledge about playing cards). He loves hugs and kindness. He feels very quickly attached to people and becomes very vulnerable. He also gets easily disappointed in people, because most of them betray his trust, and he likes to trust people way too much. He also usually does not take naps even though he really wants to, not because he has other things to do, but rather only because he wants to stay awake in case something happens that he would not want to miss. He finds attraction in things around him like flowers and nature in general. He also thinks more about people rather than himself. Nevertheless, he is not a people pleaser. He has never had any kind of romantic relationships in his life only because he would rather just talk and people usually assume that he likes them only because he is being nice to them, but the people that he actually cares about turn out to be very evil, so he can not involve himself in anything of that sort.
The file I have attached above is a task from one of the lessons on the character moodboard and profile.
I have also provided a Pinterest link in which I gathered some inspirational images and illustrations of different kind of characters and or scenery
