Virtual Trajectories
Rendering
Rendering was the main point in my final outcome. Because I stuck to a more simple look and I did not have the luxury of time in my hands, I decided to play around with the rendering techniques to make the result look good. Firstly I set up lights in the scene since I rendered out about 5 different motion capture animations, each had its own requirements in terms of camera position and lighting, for all of my renders I used an Arnold mesh light, which I applied to cubes in the scene scaling them according to the pose. I used color temperature instead of albedo to give a warm orange essence. I did not want to make the animations feel static, so I animated the camera in every sequence render, at first I used motion paths to showcase the motions of the character from different angles and make it look very cinematic. For the cigarette and the warrior pose animations, I keyframed the animation of the camera. My render settings were of low quality since I wanted to render out many different actions, I used image format png and HD 540 quality, after the sequence was in the right folder I exported it into ShotCut and made YouTube format mp4 videos.
