Academical writing
I was looking into VR exhibitions, that was the initial thought of mine, I looked at Williams Lathams books about computer generated Art, fractals and organic 3D algorythmic manipulation and remembered about the Mutator VR exhibition, found an article written by Latham and Todd Stephem (Latham, William; Todd, Stephen; Todd, Peter and Putnam, Lance. 2021. Exhibiting Mutator VR: Procedural Art Evolves to Virtual Reality. Leonardo, 54(3), pp. 274-281. ISSN 0024-094X [Article]) in which they described the general context of that particular exhibition, but the part that got my attention was when they wrote about the users physical envirnment with printed curtains and VR screen casting on the walls. It got me thinking about the impact of the physicall space on the users VR experience, it might aound a bit streched, but I think that the topic deffinetly deserves attention.
I started researching VR art exhibitions, combinig the real and virtual, trying to find out if there is any correlations, and most of the time the articles were about augmented reality and virtual reality, mixed reality as well, that was probably the most applicable term for the theme.
Because I started extrmeley late on my paper I have not really had tipe to properly develop the structure of my work and writting, and I have syffered from that most definetly.
What I found helpful in my case was when I was researching I have clearly organized my sources and got all of my quotes needed for the paper.
The struggle is REAL. My sleeping cycle is off the rails and I still have a day to write the rest of my essay, citate, edit and finish writting this blog.
Sadly I did not do as much work as I wanted to, purely because my body shut down and I felt horrible.
