On Thursday we went to Sheffield for location scouting and to meet with Hue and Howard!
It was such a beautiful and fun experience.
We got to first hand see the location which on its own is a privilige.
Then we tried to photogrammetry the hill and some of the other flora for reference and took many photos for Jamie and Anita who could nor make it.

We also got to visit the Sheffield Museum which allowed us to see the painting in real life and appreciate the details.

Everyone seems to be getting on with the project so far but the only minus I can find is that we don’t really communicate that much for some reason. Maybe it is because people have not had much progress recently or maybe they just don’t find it necessary to share what stage they are at, either way, I would like a bit more discussion in general.
But overall everything is pretty steady and good as far as I can tell.
We have set up most of the working space for everyone and the progress has been noticeable.

As for my personal progress, I wish I would have more to show, nevertheless I am planning out my days to come this week and making sure to stay on track.
I think once I start looking into animations I will have more to say about how everything is going and my confidence.

16.05.2022-23.05.2022

-Write a clear list of things that will need animations
-Get a system that shows the leafs close and far away moving in the wind
-Water movement animation
-Look at the sprite animating in Unity
-Play around with animation in Maya and Unity in general
-Find out the different ways to animate and which is the most optimal
-Check out the GitHub Unity project as well as Jamies model and all of the work done so far
