Types of media which shapes virtual reality and our reality in general. Every decision is mediated through personal perception. The reality is usually created through emotional guiding, like romanticism. The environment is set to be relatable to the person and inviting in some cases, it must provoke some emotions which will essentially immerse the user or viewer. “After he watched his wife drown, he left the cliff, went home and had a cup of coffee. It was a really cold day, and he enjoyed the gloomy weather. It suited the crime he committed. He was certain that from now he is in control of his life. That day was uneventful, the sun went down and now he was just sitting and reading with a candle lit next to him. The book he picked (you have a choice and based on that the story branches out in different directions, if you pick the book A, it is about a man who has suffered a loveless marriage but couldn’t get out of it so he kills his wife and in this case the character goes mad and starts seeing his wife everywhere and starts to have an inner conflict, so the user would be struck with the inner dialogue always talking to them as if they are the person, another way of having this story play out is having a person exit the first person view of the guy standing and looking down on his wife and starts following the guy everywhere he goes and seeing him become mad, talking to himself at home as if someone is there, so essentially talking to the user but not directly, acting suspicious in public, avoiding his friends, but all the choices he makes you decide for him because he no longer feels in control, so you are his “God” and his truth speaker, but every choice you make inevitably makes his life worse, but it is not your fault, it is his because he has to bare and live with his sin. In the case of choosing the book B from the get-go you have an ordinary life of a murderer, seeking new adrenalin, the book B is a novel in which the author creates a story about a killer who is getting away with his crimes and commits them out of anger, so the character embodies that persona and starts to be an apathetic murderer. His friends and his family notices him lashing out but is scared to do anything about it. You still make choices, but the only choices you have is to kill or not to kill, if the person doesn’t kill anyone who crosses the guy, the anger starts to grow and you are still struck with inner dialog, and the same story as with book A choice happens, where he becomes paranoid, but it is brutal and aggressive, and you can not hear the world around you as it becomes louder and more frequent. If you do kill some people or all people you must face the consequences and always come back to the same cliff as you were at in the beginning and dispose of the bodies, reliving the same scenario, seeing them drown).”
